Unlike the power planing alternatives drum sanders work great for both face grain and end grain alike; no more splitting workpieces. The 10.5-amp motor rotates the 10-by-5-inch sanding drum up to 24 times per second moving the sandpaper at a speed of 2300 feet per minute. The 4-inch dust port connects easily to the collection system of your choice to minimize cleanup during operation. Our variable speed conveyor goes anywhere from 0 to 10 feet per minute allowing you to find the perfect feed rate for your particular project. The optional work stand allows for easy mobility and storage between jobs.
