OutsoleHPR Plus is a high abrasion-resistant rubber located in the heel for durable traction. HPR Green rubber in the forefoot is made with environmentally-friendly materials and offers durable skid-resistant traction in dry and wet conditions. By blending several stabilizing technologies with a new upper the Brooks Beast 18 continues to offer the same protection but with more comfort than ever before. What’s New – A multi-density midsole slows down the inward rolling of the foot towards the big toe while a plastic midfoot unit and rigid heel counter stabilize the foot from impact to toe off. On the pinkie toe side of the shoe the Beast utilizes one of Brooks most cushioned midsole materials.
